The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) is seeking an experienced Warehouse Pharmacist reporting to the AM Community Health.

Summary of the Role

Warehouse Pharmacist ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and distribution of medicines, vaccines, and medical supplies across AKHS, P facilities. The position maintains accurate stock records, monitors storage conditions, supports regulatory compliance, and ensures timely dispatches to facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages the receipt, inspection, recording, and reconciliation of medicines and medical supplies, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Ensures proper storage of medicines and supplies in accordance with recommended temperature, humidity, and pharmaceutical storage requirements.
• Monitors and records daily temperature and humidity readings and reports any deviations, damages, or storage concerns.
• Coordinates vaccine collection, storage, distribution, and documentation in accordance with EPI Sindh protocols.
• Ensures accurate picking, packing, dispatch, and documentation of medicines and supplies to health facilities.
• Monitors stock expiry dates, quarantines expired or damaged products, and supports disposal in accordance with AKHS, P policies.
• Maintains complete and organized warehouse documentation and supports internal and external audits.
• Ensures compliance with pharmaceutical handling, safety, housekeeping, and occupational health and safety standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
• 2 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical warehousing, logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
• Understands EPI Sindh reporting mechanisms and vaccine collection, storage, and documentation processes.
• Applies technical protocols related to pharmaceutical and vaccine storage, handling, and temperature control.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, and commitment to quality and compliance.
• Works effectively in a structured, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
